Spread for bread

I want to share with you one idea, what you could do with remaining press cake after you make home-made almond milk. This is a very easy recipe of spread for bread, that I really like.

This portion is very small, however, you can collect your almond press cake and store it in the freezer, and later on, if you are in the mood for spread, you can unfreeze the amount of press cake you need.


Almond press cake (what remains from 60g of almonds)
Dill 20 g
Garlic 1 clove
Nutritional yeast 1 tbsp (optional)
Tomato paste 2 tsp
Salt, Cayenne Pepper to taste
Olive oil 1 tbsp (optional)

How to make Spread for bread

Just mix together in a bowl minced garlic, chopped dill and all other ingredients. And that’s it! Spread this paste to a piece of bread or to a cracker, or to a toast and enjoy! This amount would be enough for 4 medium slices of bread.
