Yesterday we went out for a walk by the sea, and had funny conversation with my hubby. There was a full moon in the sky and we started to talk about gravity.
When it comes to full moon we usually think about water, about connection of the moon with ebbs and flows in seas and oceans. However, the gravity affects all the particles, not only water. So, why not to assume, that there is some tiny effect (that we obviously can’t feel physically), that makes us a bit lighter or heavier? And there is a huge celestial body – Sun – that also affects our planet (and us) with its gravity! So here’s my thinking, that some may find ridiculous, but I will share anyway!
What if we – human species – are active in the day time, because our bodies are tiny bit lighter, because the Sun pulls us with its strong gravity upwards? And imagine, that it is not your bed that attracts you so much when you are tired, maybe it is Earth’s gravity in addition to the gravity of the Sun (that is exactly on the other side of the Planet at night) that’s pulls you to the ground and you want to sleep?
And now I will tell you another thing. It’s mostly for girls (however my dearest love told me that it is always beneficial to understand women as better as possible, and I find this thinking very masculine and wise. So maybe guys also will find this interesting…. or funny!)
So it’s about our body cycle. Everybody knows about that strange effect when cycles of close women synchronize. But I don’t know if you ever noticed before, that statistically menstrual cycle lasts less then a month, so approximately it has same length with moon cycle. Last few years I observe regularity in my cycle: ovulation comes to new moon, menstruation to the full moon. And here’s again! When there is a New Moon – the Sun and the Moon are at one line and on one side of the Earth! So in the daytime Earth experience power of Moon and Sun gravity from one side. Interesting, that in this period I feel myself emotionally lighter, physically stronger, positive, energized, optimistic. One word – I feel lightness in all aspects. I also sleep better, and it’s easier to follow the sleeping regime (again – in the night the gravity is the strongest during the month: Earth+Moon+Sun gravity all at ones!)
Then it comes closer to full Moon – I often experience severe PMS symptoms, I am pessimistic, have lack of motivation, lack of energy… I have heavy thoughts.. Let’s assume that it is somehow connected with the fact, that in the day time both Earth and Moon gravity “pulls” me down. It’s sound strangely logical to me (though I admit it is a bit funny). And what about night? I always had sleep problems at Full Moon – even in my childhood. Last night I also had nightmares and woke up through the night. What if this because the gravity of the Sun and Earth were opposed by the Moon and not anymore that strong?
Manifesting and Letting Go
Also If we would talk about spiritual things, there is some special atmosphere around moon cycle. New Moon considered to be a good time for manifestation, for attracting things you want. Full Moon, on the other hand, is the best time to let go thing that no longer serves you. In fact, there are even scientific evidences, that women’s brain functions differently in different cycle phases, and we tend to have better intuition during menstruations. From hormonal perspective, we tend to be sensitive at this period, self-analysing and we retire into ourself at this time. So yes, why not? Physically and symbolically we can get rid of what we don’t need anymore, that will not work for us anymore…
I know also, that men have hormonal cycle as well, though it is short: full cycle completes in 24 hours. So what if…. what if this cycle also connected with Earth rotation and position of the Moon in the sky during the day?!! I have one book about men’s hormones upnext! Maybe I will find out something interesting. In that case I will share it with you)
For now, I think all of this might be another hints, that everything is connected in this world, and we are nothing but one complex universe organism…..
If you find this interesting, tell me what you think about it in the comments!
